People have always liked carrying around photographs with them. One way of doing this is by getting a picture embossed in a locket and keeping it close to your heart. These lockets have long remained a monopoly of the white haired class of populace.

Lindsey Pickett seeks to change all that with the concept of a digital camera fitted in a pocket locket.

Kodak 1881 is a pocket locket that gives a brand new hi-tech therapy to an outdated fashion accessory.

Lindsey has added an integrated camera lens on the lockets exterior and fitted its interior with two LCD displays. These displays are designed to showcase your favorite photographs (aka your memories.)

Just aim and tap the locket to capture or open the locket for a precise photo composition. There are side panels to navigate through menu and photographs stored in its integrated memory.

Kodak 1881 is still in a conceptual stage, but wait till its mass production starts. I am sure it will be one of the most fashionable gadgets around.
