Jogging shoes that spell comfort
If you're among those people who think that the best jogging shoes come from a reputed brand, you've got it all wrong.
Jogging comfort is not in a company or a brand name. Of course, brands deliver the best in terms of quality and comfort. But, that does not mean that you're better off with a Reebok or a Nike just because it's a Reebok or a Nike! Duh!.
So, what makes a good pair of jogging shoes?
The right jogging shoes feel like they're made for your feet, regardless of whether you have flat feet, arched feet or normal feet.
Hint: Do not select a pair of shoes just because your sister recommended them or your boyfriend said they look great.
A trusty pair of jogging shoes is your best friend, whether you're thudding through on concrete or squashing sand on the beach. A comfortable pair of shoes keeps you safe from injury and strain. Choose jogging shoes with good traction. These will help you grip the ground firmly. So, even if you're on wet ground, you won't land up unceremoniously on your backside!
Hint: Select your jogging shoes keeping the running surface in mind. If it's concrete roads, good cushioning will do wonders for your feet, leg and general comfort.
An excellent pair of jogging shoes is an investment in your health and running pleasure. That's why you mustn't worry too much about handing over a few extra dollars. Pamper your feet. After all, it's holding you up while you pound the earth relentlessly.
Hint: Your shoe should be soft enough for comfort but sturdy enough to support you. Change your
running shoes every 10,000 km. After that, there isn't much life in them.

Concept in Fashion: Saab Fashionista
While there"s no guarantee that this car will ever go into production, the composite renderings have us hoping we"ll see this baby on the showroom floor someday soon. The Saab Fashionista is a concept car designed by French car design student, Mayeul Walser. Based on the designs of high fashion designers Karl Lagerfield and Chanel mixed with futuristic sci-fi tech, the 2-door, 4-seater sports coupe is definitely a looker. The While the sleek, futuristic exterior is definitely intriguing, what"s under the hood isn"t too shabby either.
Based on the designs of the Chevrolet Volt, the Fashionista is nearly identical in dimensions. The could have the same extended range electric powertrain, but Walser intends for his concept to be equipped with a hybrid powertrain with a 6-cylinder engine.
While it remains to be seen if this concept will become more than frenzied imaginings of a talented design student, the Fashionista is an interesting glimpse into the future of automobile may hold.

That Summer in Paris
At one point while reading Abha Dawesar"s lush That Summer in Paris I realized I was actually being seduced! It took away my appetite (in the best possible way), moved me, and helped me to understand a past relationship better.
The novel is also a tribute to the most lovely things in Paris - the sex, art, and food - and somehow manages to enhance their beauty and mystery. Strongest possible recommendation.
"Do you know why there is an opposition? I too think of you as two people. And I think of myself too as two.... But today I am a slave to real life. You are Prem. This is cheese. And this cheese is more real than what I"m trying to write. There"s no struggle between the world and this one," she said, tapping the side of her head with her index finger.
"I want you to have a sip of the wine to cleanse your palate of the herbs and then to put that strong cheese in your mouth." Prem startled himself with his tone. Prem and Maya had vanished; they were two stomachs.
Maya had a sip of wine and then neatly cleaved the buttery nine o"clock cheese with her knife and put it in her mouth. The jewel in the crown. The climax.
"Vous etes un genie!"
Cherif, no doubt cognizant that such a moment happens at a certain point in the meal, was already hovering near the table. Trying his best to hide his triumph, he smiled sheepishly and said, "It"s the cheese, not me."

Valextra Premier Tote
This is the most streamline and sleekest design ever and of course it is from Valextra, the King of simple chic. Nothing is snobbier than having absolutely no pretense. I don"t have to flash my wares or even let you know what where or how. You know what I"m talking about, you see a girl with something amazing on and when you ask her where she got it, she smiles coyly and says, "Wouldn"t you like to know?". How freaking snobby is that? Actually, that example goes beyond to bitchy, but you get my point. But that pretty much sums up the reason behind the lack of logos on brands like Valextra, Hermes and Bottega. This tote seems overly simple but look at how the straps are fused to the body of the bag, it is the most subtle of details but really really cool! At Barneys for $3270. Comes in this Verdes Prato Green and Oyster as well as a nude and black.

Zoe Saldana Covers Latina Magazine
Latina magazine has been diversifying its cover subjects lately and included more Afro-Latinas in the mix. Sessilee Lopez graced the March 2009 cover.
I rarely get to the movies but I am intrigued by the new Star Trek installment. I had a few other actresses in mind to play Uhura when I first heard about the film but from what I"ve heard, Zoe does a pretty good job in the role.
Did any of you see the flick last weekend? Was it worth the effort?
ETA: Women"s Health and Entertainment Weekly covers.

Buying Wholesale Body Jewelry
The biggest advantage of buying
wholesale body jewelry is that it is priced far cheaper than retail jewelry. In fact, the price margin is as wide as 200%. Normally, retailers buy their jewelry from wholesalers to maintain this profit percentage. However, even if you are not a retailer, you can still buy wholesale body jewelry. By doing so, you will be able to get your jewelry at economic prices and choose from an extensive range too.
Wholesale Body Jewelry: The History behind the Art
The ancient Egyptian royals restricted the use of body piercing to themselves, which indicated that the body jewelry they wore represented the authority they possessed over others. Even some portions in the Bible describe jewelry as a sign of power and wealth. The Egyptians were famous for wearing body jewelry to beautify their bodies. The Romans were also fond of using body jewelry like amulets and earrings. They even pierced their nipples to as it was considered to be a sign of their masculinity.
The ancient tribes of South America, India and Africa continue to treat body jewelry as an important part of their culture. With the passage of time, body jewelry regained popularity in the US and Europe as a trend among pop stars and youths.
Wholesale Body Jewelry: Factors to Consider
When buying wholesale body jewelry, here are some factors to consider:
- Generally, one needs a vendor’s license to buy wholesale jewelry. Vendor license costs some money, so be prepared.
- Keep in mind that a lot of warehouses offer numerous membership cards to vendors. In case you have a friend who is a vendor, you can avail his membership card.
- Often, buying wholesale body jewelry involves dealing with an overseas dealer. In such a scenario, factors like currency, shipping and extra custom charges come into play.
- Before buying wholesale body jewelry, it is best to compare prices that are offered by different dealers. You can also compare the shipping and return policies of various wholesale dealers.
- For those buying from online jewelry shops, check the dealer’s credibility and privacy policy.
- Most online wholesale dealers will ask for your vendor number or other identity proofs. If they do not, it is most likely a fraudulent site. Beware of this fact.
Some wholesale dealers of body jewelry decide the rate of silver wire based on the gauge and weight of the wire. However, the most common practice is to vend according to the standard price of the silver reel in the market.
