Fashion Fades, Style is Eternal

Fashion Fades, Style is Eternal

FCUK was responsible for launching this poster advertisement in Ireland to strengthen its brand image, which eventually received several complaints for being offensive. The poster featured two women in a fighting position along with the companying text, French Connection. Fashion V Style. The complaints alleged that the advertisement was promoting casual acts of violence and considered the advertisers were being provocative just for the sake of it. Complainants also argued that the advertisement has used a mixture of sex and violence to portray the shock effect of female violence to promote their products.

The advertisers in their defense said that their intention was to highlight a symbolic conflict between style and fashion in an appealing manner and not to cause alarm or incite violence. They further clarified that the concept of the advertisement was derived from a famous Yves Saint Laurent quote Fashion fades. Style is eternal. The complaint committee of the advertisement watchdog expressed some concerns, but they did not consider that the advertisement was in breach of the Code and consequently did not support the complaints. However, it reminded advertisers that obtaining approval from CAP in the UK did not mean that advertisements are mechanically agreeable even at this platform.

When It Comes to KINeSYS Spray On Sunblock

When It Comes to KINeSYS Spray On Sunblock
KINeSYS is a new type of sunblock for people of all ages. It's important to use a sunblock DAILY-- as in every day, rain, snow or shine because of the UVA/UVB exposure. Unfortunately most people don't do that or don't use it enough (multiple applications are needed throughout the day). However sunblock application just got easier (and the risk of skin cancer may have just gone down a notch) courtesy of KINeSYS!

What is KINeSYS?
This is a true performance level sunblock that provides broad spectrum protection and is easy to apply. There are two versions:
Microspray Formula is fast, convenient and dries quickly within about 5 minutes without any rubbing-- just a even spray across the skin 6-10 inches from the body. This can be used on the face and applied via spray or sprayed onto hands for more precise application. (allow 15 minutes to dry ). Mango scented or fragrance free versions.
Cream Formula has the same ingredients plus titanium dioxide and needs to be rubbed into the skin. It comes only in a fragrance free version.
Solid Stick Formula has all the same attributes as the spray formula. Available as fragrance free only and it's easy to apply to noses, ears and face to help prevent burning.

All three presentations include Parsol 1789, are oil-free, alcohol-free and PABA-free (this is a good thing!)They are also water resistant, sweat resistant , hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic.
There are also versions with SPF 15, and one specifically for children.

Fast, easy, and SPF 30.

Get Gorgeous Peepers Courtesy of NovaLash Eyelash Extensions.

Get Gorgeous Peepers Courtesy of NovaLash Eyelash Extensions.

Want to get some gorgeous lashes? Of course-- who doesn't want to have long lashes. Did you know that having long lashes can make you look YOUNGER? How about even 5-10 years younger in one day without paying serious $$$$ for cosmetic surgery? It's "best kept secret" because getting lash extensions downplays the circles, fine lines and puffy eyes. However there is a catch to all this-- it's not just any lash extensions but a specific type of lash extensions.

NovaLash eyelash extensions are a completely new method of enhancing the length and thickness of eyelashes. Extensions are applied on a lash-by-lash basis for a natural look that lasts up to 8 weeks.

I tried lash extensions and within less than 24 hours, they were popping off. Plus they were irritating my eyes. Turns out two things were wrong: one, the technician had minimal training and two, the glue was a huge issue -- (big duh there) because the lashes weren't even staying on 24 hours!

How to prevent this from happening to you? Ask questions and make sure that 1) you get someone with lots of experience and some serious amounts of training- and
2) make sure the salon is using NOVALASH extensions and glue!

You will be thrilled at the results. One of my BFF's had hers done with Novalash and while mine lasted the 24 hours, hers lasted over 6 weeks. (sigh)..

Give The Guy in Your Life a Great Gift

Men's grooming products tend to be boring-- or seen as too "foo-foo" for most guys. Well here's a line that's really different--aMENity!
This line is a "bridge" between the two fasted growing skincare categories-- men's grooming and MD developed product lines. aMENity is pioneer in a market segment called "CLINICAL GROOMING-". Now aMENity steps in to bridge that gap with a newly developed collection of products that solve real day to day needs with high-quality, patent-pending ingredients in smart formulations and easy components that fit the needs of men who have problems with oily skin, dryness, acne, razor burn and ingrown hair and fit into the daily routine.

After extensive research into men's grooming issues, the results were "distilled" down to six most common complaints and then the brand set out to create products that addressed those issues effectively. . They came up with patent-pending PRO-FORM 6-, which is a cutting edge, power packed mix of ingredients that work individually and synergistically to solve men's grooming problems.
The packaging works the way a guy wants it to work: the dispensers release a metered dose and products are designed to last 60-90 days. The airless, shatterproof components with locking closures make them easy to pack for a vacation or business trip.

Kylie Minogue’s Novel To-do List out in the Open

Kylie Minogue’s Novel To-do List out in the Open

Everyone has the habit of jotting down reminders and making a list of things to do, but not everyone shares the passion of displaying it to the public, the way Kylie Minogue did it recently. Though, it is still to be figured out whether she did it by fluke or by her own choice.

Whatever the case may be, but we have some chapters out from Kylie’s career plans right before us courtesy Daily Mail.

The to-do list was scribbled on the back of an envelope that her stylist William Baker was carrying as she left her London home with him.

The list starts with the word ‘mugs’ suggesting her need for some shopping. The next item in the list is the phrase ‘tour next year’ which promises an early tour by the singer.

The next item scribbled on the envelope is ‘Coty perfume’- perhaps to remind her about her deal with Coty perfumes. Next in the list is ‘Songs to Parkinson’ which is folowed by some notes relating to some promotional material for a film.

Then comes ‘Acting coach number’ followed by ‘When Dr Who script arriving?’ and ‘Russells number’. The last three items relate to BBC’s Doctor Who series, of which Russell T Davies is the head writer.
